Who Would You Be?
Who would you be
When taking off the constraints of society?
No more “have to’s” and “musts,”
Only your instincts you trust?
Who would you be
When you find yourself free
Of others’ judgments and dreams,
To live a life you deem?
Who would you be
When having no fear to faithfully
Follow your aspirations while believing
In yourself completely?
Who would you be
When you clearly see
Who you are and what you want
Moving forward with confidence?
Who would you be
When inspiring courageously
With who you really are,
Unique as a guiding star?
Who would you be
When you see your gleam
Of amazing brilliance
Rejoicing in magnificence?
Who would you be
When living life boldly,
To live life your way,
Allowing others no say?
Your life IS all about you!
Abandoned dreams purposefully pursued
No more excuses or confusion;
Being you is the only solution.
Follow your righteous path
Then be rewarded in aftermath;
With finding your invaluable voice
Manifesting with an abundance of joy.
Repattern your perspective and shift
To reveal life’s one meaningful gift…
You.
It IS All About You
The question, “Who would you be?” is not a rhetorical one. It’s not a question meant to inspire fantasies, although there’s nothing wrong with a little dreaming! Instead, the question is intended very seriously: who would you be if you weren’t chained to what others think of you and were boldly living a life following your personal aspirations? The purpose of the question is also to remind you that you can live of fulfilled dreams. You may just need to adjust your perspective a bit.
Re-Pattern Your Perspective
Re-patterning your perspective means to face your issues realistically with an attitude that you can do things differently to get the results you want. You may have to do some honest thinking and digging deep within yourself to find out why your behavior and choices are the opposite of the results you want. But do it bravely; peel back the layers and reflect. Be aware. Build a plan for how to be different and what the outcome will be.
Most importantly, be patient and kind to yourself. This is a process, and it will take some time for you to get it right.
You Are In Control
It is sometimes easy to fall into a pattern of following someone else’s direction; to feel like you have no control over your life. In some respects, that’s true as we cannot control everything that life brings our way. But, that’s no excuse for thinking that you cannot create a life that you love.
The truth is that you can control everything–the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful–because you are in control of your response. Your response-ability, or responsibility, for the things that happen to you is where your power lies. Too often, we see the word “responsibility” and think we’re supposed to feel bad about ourselves or what happened. Instead, the word is meant to show you how incredibly powerful you are. It is through your ability to respond that you create your own life, one without confusion, excuses, and abandoned dreams.
Who Would You Be?
Creating the life you love starts by consciously choosing what your vision is. Then, set goals based on that vision. Lastly, make a plan of actionable steps that will keep you on track to meet those goals. It’s ok if this is overwhelming for you; struggles and challenges are part of the perfection in your life and contribute to your ultimate growth.
You don’t have to go through the process alone. I am here to help guide you through the steps of discovery, transformation, and creation. Don’t waste another day living a life that belongs to someone else.
